Postdoctoral Researcher in Empirical Microeconomics (m/f/d)

The University of Hohenheim in Stuttgart, Germany, is looking for a motivated postdoctoral researcher with a strong background in empirical microeconomics.

The initial contract is for a duration of 3 years, starting on 1st July 2026. The position is fully funded and offers competitive remuneration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent research in empirical microeconomics.
• Collaborate with other researchers and participate in academic conferences.
• Supervise students and assist in teaching duties.

Requirements

• PhD in Economics or related field.
• Strong analytical skills and expertise in econometric methods.
• Proficient in statistical software (e.g., R, Stata).
• Excellent communication skills in English.
